Gunners of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed the control points of the UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region

Calculations of the Gvozdika self-propelled artillery installations of the Vostok group of forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed control points for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on January 18 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to the agency, during aerial reconnaissance, camouflaged enemy positions of reconnaissance UAV operators were discovered in the forest belts. After clarifying the coordinates, data on the enemy's location was transferred to artillery units, which eliminated enemy targets with 122-mm cannon fire.

The Defense Ministry noted that as a result of the strike, the enemy was deprived of the opportunity to carry out reconnaissance and strikes in this area.
