The Donbass Dome electronic warfare system prevented 286 terrorist attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in a week. This was announced on January 17 by the press service of the Directorate of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia for the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

"The electronic warfare system "Dome of Donbass" prevented 286 terrorist attacks from the enemy during the week. 243 drones were eliminated over Donetsk and Makeyevka, 43 over Gorlovka," the report says.

According to the ministry, the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to attack the republic's energy infrastructure with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Thus, four FP‑1 drones with high-explosive fragmentation warheads were intercepted in the Amvrosiyevsky district, two similar devices were suppressed in Khartsyzsk, and a Baba Yaga drone with an improvised explosive device based on a grenade launcher was neutralized in the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk.

It is noted that explosives experts neutralized the suppressed UAVs and destroyed the warheads without harming the civilian population and the infrastructure of the region.

On January 11, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, announced that the Donbass Dome system had prevented 252 terrorist attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a week. For example, two drones were neutralized in the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk near a distribution power plant, an aircraft-type drone was shot down near a power plant in the Gornyatsky district of Makeyevka, and a UAV was destroyed near a power plant in Khartsyzsk. All the drones were armed with ammunition.
