A civilian was injured in an attack by a Ukrainian UAV near Belgorod.

As a result of the detonation of a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the village of Tavrovo, Belgorod region, a civilian was injured. This was announced on January 17 by the operational headquarters of the region.

"In the village of Tavrovo, Belgorod region, a civilian was injured as a result of the detonation of an APU drone. The man suffered a closed craniocerebral injury and multiple shrapnel wounds to his face and shoulder," the operstaba said in a Telegram channel message.

The victim was taken by an ambulance team to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2, where he is receiving all necessary medical care. A passenger car was also damaged in the attack.
