Three trains in the Novosibirsk region are delayed due to a breakdown in the contact network between Kochenevo and Duplenskaya stations. This was announced on January 17 by the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office.

"Due to a malfunction of the contact network support, there was a delay in the movement of rolling stock," the department's Telegram channel reported.

Three trains are running late: a suburban train to Barabinsk, as well as two long—distance trains from Tynda to Kislovodsk and from Severobaikalsk to Moscow. The maximum delay time will be 55 minutes.

"The circumstances of the event are being established. The movement is carried out in reverse, restoration work is underway," added the prosecutor's office, which organized an emergency check at the same time.

On January 5, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Amur Region reported the derailment of 35 freight train cars. No one was injured in the incident, but the railway infrastructure was damaged. Due to this, traffic on this section of the road has been temporarily suspended. Travelers traveling on the Moscow — Vladivostok and Khabarovsk—Neryungri trains, as well as on the Vladivostok — Moscow and Neryungri—Khabarovsk trains, continued their train journey to their destinations by other trains.
