The MP explained Britain's desire to foment conflict in Ukraine

On January 17, deputy of the Kherson Regional Duma Yuriy Barbashov suggested that the British government would provoke an escalation of the conflict in Ukraine until it escalated into a world war.

"The United Kingdom has announced a competition for the development of a new land-based ballistic missile for Ukraine, we are talking about a medium-range missile. That is, the British are going to step up attacks on Russia's territory and infrastructure with the hands of their Ukrainian proxies, formally remaining out of the conflict, and do not consider the possibility that a retaliatory strike will be launched against the UK. As long as they remain convinced of this, their actions to escalate the conflict in Ukraine to the point of fomenting a new world war will continue," he said in an interview with TASS.
