Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, currently on an official visit to the People's Republic of China (PRC), reminded US President Donald Trump of the existence of the fifth article of the NATO treaty after the American leader's threats to conquer Greenland.

"We are NATO partners with Denmark, and our full-fledged partnership remains. Our obligations under articles five and two of the North Atlantic Treaty remain in force, and we fully support them," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
