Three children died as a result of a fire in a private house in the Yakut village of Namtsy. This was reported on January 17 in the press service of the Prosecutor's office of Yakutia.
"In a village in Yakutia, three children died as a result of a fire in a private house," the Telegram channel of the regional prosecutor's office reported.
The press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Yakutia added that the fire occurred on the evening of January 16 in a two-story private apartment building on Vinokurova Street. It is specified that the tragedy claimed the lives of children born in 2013, 2015 and 2016.
The causes and circumstances of the fire are being investigated, and a criminal case has been opened into the incident under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence").
On January 16, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Primorsky Krai reported a fire in the restaurant of a business center in Vladivostok, the fire has already been extinguished. It is specified that 57 people evacuated the building on their own before the arrival of firefighters. One person needed the help of rescuers: a member of the gas and smoke protection service took him out of the ninth floor with the help of special equipment.
