Russian citizens should be able to purchase residential real estate "for 1 square meter. m.", this will make it possible to provide children with their own housing by the age of majority. This was announced on January 17 by Sergey Rybalchenko, Chairman of the CC RF Commission on Demography, protection of family, children and traditional family values.

"Such housing could be purchased for the future generation. That is, a child is growing up, and every year you can purchase housing for a certain number of square meters. Thus, when a young man has a family, he already has a roof over his head. This is a mechanism for solving the housing problem in new conditions," Rybalchenko explained in an interview with TASS.
