- Sergeant Abramov, during the evacuation of wounded soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces, repulsed the attack of the AFU FPV drones.
Gunner-orderly Sergeant Dmitry Abramov, who was involved in one of the tactical areas of the special military operation, repelled an attack by FPV drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on his rigging and evacuation group. This was announced on January 17 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
The ministry said that during the evacuation of the wounded, Sergeant Abramov promptly detected approaching enemy FPV drones and personally destroyed two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with small arms fire.
Thanks to the courage and dedication of Sergeant Dmitry Abramov, the combat mission was carried out without loss of personnel, and the wounded servicemen received qualified medical care in a timely manner.
The ministry also noted the actions of Junior Sergeant Alexander Boytsov, who, acting as part of a UAV crew of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation under intense enemy artillery fire, destroyed two AFU guns and mortar crews.
For example, Junior Sergeant Boitsov organized cooperation with Russian artillery units and adjusted fire on enemy guns and positions. These courageous, professional and competent actions allowed the serviceman to complete the assigned combat mission without loss of personnel. At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost two guns and mortar crews.
On January 15, the Russian Defense Ministry told about the exploits of Junior Sergeant Viktor Fedorov and Junior Sergeant Alexander Vasenin. It was noted that the first serviceman discovered and eliminated a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group, and the second destroyed an AIRBORNE drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which he discovered while moving towards the positions of units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
