The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has reached an agreement between Russia and Ukraine on the introduction of a local ceasefire regime in the area of the Zaporizhia NPP. This was announced on January 16 by the Director General of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi.
"[The agreement] will allow the repair of the last backup power transmission line of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) to begin," he is quoted as saying on the agency's website.
