About 280 apartment buildings in the city of Berdyansk, Zaporizhia region, were left without heat supply due to problems with the power supply system. This was announced on January 16 by the governor of the region Evgeny Balitsky.
"In the city of Berdyansk, boiler houses have been shut down due to the failure of the power supply system," a message on his Telegram channel says.
It is specified that four emergency crews are working to prevent defrosting of heating systems by draining the coolant and controlling the temperature in buildings. The governor added that the heat supply will be restored after the stabilization of electricity and the restart of boilers.
Balytsky reported on January 15 that about 87 thousand consumers in the Zaporizhia region were left without electricity due to an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
