Malikov covered the song "Pyaterochka Tram" for the tribute album "Lyube"
Artist Dmitry Malikov sang the song "Pyaterochka Tram" by the Lyube group. The singer told about how it was on January 16.
"We [with the Lube band] crossed paths on tour, worked together on the stadiums department. Since then, we have been quite friendly with Nikolai Rastorguev, Andrei Lukinov, and Igor Matvienko," Malikov shared.
He also clarified that he had previously recorded in the same studio with Lube in 1989, so he was already familiar with their work.
"I got a call from [the producer] Andrey [Lukinov] offered to sing for the Pyaterochka Tram tribute, and I was very happy. Because I've always liked this song," Malikov said.
The singer said that he was born in Moscow and often visited his grandmother in Cheryomushki. therefore, he knows well "all these streets, alleys and benches", which Lyube sang about. Malikov also thanked the participants.
The group "Gorod 312" covered the song "Calendar" by the group "Lyube" for the album "Lyube 35. Everything is starting again...". According to the vocalist of "Gorod 312" Diana Makarova, the love song has become her native one.
