Firefighters extinguished a fire in a building in the east of Moscow. This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the capital on Friday, January 16.
"Personal belongings and furniture caught fire on the fifth floor of a five-story building. The fire was promptly eliminated by the measures taken. People left the building on their own. There was no information about the victims," the Moscow City News agency quoted the message.
The fire occurred at the address: Izmailovsky Boulevard, 49, in the hostel. 48 people evacuated on their own, according to 360.ru . The fire area was about 20 sq. m.
A criminal investigation into the deaths of three children and their mother in a fire in an apartment building has been completed in the Moscow Region, RT reports.
