Ukraine has received a new "serious package" of missiles for air defense systems amid a catastrophic shortage of weapons, President Vladimir Zelensky said on January 16.

"Until this morning, we had several systems without missiles, for today I can say frankly, because today we already have missiles. I knock out every package of missiles from Europe and America. We received a serious package this morning, and now it's in Ukraine," the UNIAN news agency quoted the Ukrainian leader as saying.
