Preparations for the construction of a new large school have begun in the Solnechny microdistrict in Krasnoyarsk. The Department of Urban Planning announced this in its Telegram channel on Friday, January 16.

The contractor has already begun to fence off the territory of the future construction on Sokolovskaya Street, to import equipment and to install a construction site. According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, previously there was a parking lot at this place, the contract with the entrepreneur was terminated last year.

The contractor is Stroytechmontazh LLC. He is due to graduate in 2027.

The school in Solnechny has a capacity of 1,1 thousand places. In addition to classrooms, the large building will house four gyms, medical and food units, a large library, an assembly hall, as well as various workshops, cooking and home economics rooms. There will be a motor city, a sports ground and spaces for games on the adjacent territory.

In the summer of 2024, another school was completed in the Solnechny microdistrict, which received the number 160. The educational institution is also designed for 1,100 places, and 44 classes can study in one shift.
