Vladimir Kekhman has vacated the post of artistic director of the Mikhailovsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. This was announced on January 16 by the press service of the theater in the Telegram channel.

"Vladimir Kekhman is leaving the post of artistic director of the Mikhailovsky Theater after almost 19 years of work," the publication says.

Alexander Solovyov, the theater's chief conductor, has been appointed acting artistic director.
