Exhibitions of the National Artist of Russia Nikas Safronov were held in India with the support of Rosneft, the company's press service reported. The immersive Dream Vision project was presented in two major cultural centers of the country. The first exhibition was held in New Delhi at the Lalit Kala Akademi National Academy of Arts, the second at the National Gallery of Modern Art Mumbai.

The project featured 100 of Nikas Safronov's best works, including a series of paintings created for an Indian audience. On the artist's canvases, picturesque architectural views of Moscow and St. Petersburg were juxtaposed with images of the Taj Mahal and other iconic places in India.

The high-tech expositions were built on the synergy of classical painting and modern multimedia solutions: light, sound, video installations, LED screens and digital technologies.

At the entrance to the exhibition in New Delhi, the guests were greeted by decorative sculptures of elephants, hand-painted in Russian folk techniques. Individual sound and aroma design was provided in each hall. In Mumbai, the entrance was decorated with LED screens that created the effect of a transition from real space to the world of images. A special place was occupied by works that combined traditional Russian patterns — the motifs of Gzhel, Khokhloma and Palekh — with the cultural codes of India.

The exhibitions were visited by art critics, curators, collectors, cultural figures, representatives of government and diplomatic circles. The project was highly appreciated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of India, and the exhibition was visited by the country's Minister of Culture and Tourism, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

Rosneft supports significant cultural projects in Russia and abroad, and actively participates in the development of cultural ties between Russia and India. In the summer of 2025, with the support of the company, the Festival of India was held in Moscow, and in October 2024, in Ahmedabad, India, with the support of Rosneft, a tour of Tatiana Navka's ice show "Scheherazade's Love Story" took place — the first ice performance held in India.
