More than 10 km of heating networks will be replaced in Severomorsk in 2026

Modernization of communications will continue in Severomorsk, Murmansk region. Accidents on heating systems mainly occur in areas that have not been repaired for a long time, said Vladimir Evmenkov, the mayor of the city.

According to him, quoted by Bi-port news agency, it is impossible to replace all the networks at the same time. In particular, there is no financial opportunity for this. However, thanks to the renovation program, it was possible to multiply the pace of work in this direction.

The authorities of Severomorsk plan to replace more than 10 thousand meters of networks this year. The plans can be adjusted based on the analysis of infrastructure failures.

The agency clarifies that the regional authorities intend to allocate more than 106.3 million rubles for the overhaul of sections of the Severomorsk heating networks and complete the work by the end of summer. JSC Murmanenergosbyt is looking for a contractor for the overhaul of equipment at the boiler house. About 200 m of steel pipes in polyurethane foam insulation were delivered to the city. Next year, it is planned to overhaul more than 5.5 thousand meters of heating mains in Severomorsk and Safonov.

Earlier it was reported that in the Murmansk region in 2026, contributions for major repairs will remain at the same level. Governor Andrey Chibis, reporting on this, called the topic of capital repairs sensitive for the vast majority of residents. According to the head of the region, time is not easy, it is difficult for many people to pay for utilities, therefore, such a decision was made.
