Russia recognizes that Greenland is part of Denmark's territory. This was announced on January 16 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov during a briefing.
"We, like the whole world, are monitoring the situation around Greenland. We state a very contradictory situation. We proceed from the fact that Greenland is the territory of the Danish Kingdom," he said.
