In 2025, FSSP bailiffs and MADI inspectors arrested 28 cars. The Metropolitan Department of Transport announced this in its Telegram channel on January 16.

The owners of these cars parked under forbidding signs and on lawns, and also accumulated debts on fines totaling more than 6 million rubles.

As noted in the department, five motorists paid off the debt on the spot and avoided evacuation, and the rest will be able to return their cars only after full repayment of the debt. If this is not done, the cars may be auctioned off to pay off the debt.

"We urge drivers to remember about safety and traffic rules and leave their cars only in permitted places. If the car owner receives a fine, it must be paid within 60 days. Even a small debt can have negative consequences, including the seizure of a car," said Maxim Liksutov, Moscow's Deputy Mayor for Transport.

On December 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law according to which owners of cars temporarily imported into the Russian Federation will be fined for violations of tinting rules. The amendments to Part 3 of Article 12.5 of the Administrative Code eliminate a loophole according to which owners of a certain category of cars could not comply with the rules on tinting, as they have the opportunity to use their vehicles in Russia for up to six months without registration with the State Traffic Inspectorate.
