The State Duma wants to impose fines of up to 1 million rubles for violations during the examination of migrants

A group of parliamentarians led by the leaders of Duma factions and Deputy Speaker of the State Duma, Chairman of the Commission on Migration Policy Irina Yarovaya submitted to Parliament three bills aimed at combating illegal migration and protecting the health of Russian citizens. Yarovaya told reporters about this on January 16.

"It is fundamentally important that for violating the procedure for conducting medical examinations of foreign citizens, we impose administrative liability, a fine of 300 thousand to 1 million rubles or suspension of activities from 14 to 90 days," TASS quoted her as saying.

The parliamentarian stressed that the measure would be aimed at increasing control over medical examinations, as well as making abuses in this area unprofitable.
