More than 80% of Russians trust Putin.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is trusted by 80.9% of the country's residents. This was confirmed on January 16 by a survey on the website of the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM).
It is noted that the survey was conducted in the period from December 29 to December 30, 2025 among adult Russians.
77.8% of respondents expressed approval of the activities of the head of state. 51.6% of residents positively assessed the work of the Government of the Russian Federation. At the same time, 63.4% of the surveyed citizens trust Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reported on October 24, 2025, that VTSIOM data, according to which Putin and the Russian military are trusted by the vast majority of Russians, are telling indicators. He added that these data indicate the consolidation of society around the president.
