FT learned about possible territorial concessions for Ukraine upon joining the EU

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to consider the possibility of territorial concessions in favor of Russia if this is accompanied by Ukraine's accession to the European Union (EU). This is reported by the Financial Times, citing sources in the European Commission.

"Zelensky will be able to accept other aspects of a possible peace deal, for example, the cession of territories in favor of Russia, only if he can present joining the EU as a positive result," the publication says.
