Noble Capital RSD investment Fund has filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation for over $225.8 on royal debts

The Noble Capital RSD investment fund based in Texas in the United States has drawn up and filed a lawsuit for over $225.8 billion against Russia in an American court demanding repayment of debts on bonds from the time of the Russian Empire. This was announced on Friday, January 16, according to the relevant documents.

"The Russian Federation is the legal successor of the Russian Imperial Federation and the legal successor of its obligations under Russian sovereign bonds...> The Russian Federation is liable to Noble Capital for Russian government bonds in the amount to be determined during the trial, but not less than $225.8 billion," reads the text, which was published on the CourtListener online legal investigation service.

In addition to the country itself, there are several government agencies among the defendants, such as the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and the National Welfare Fund of Russia (NWF).
