A red cat trapped in a ventilation system in St. Petersburg was rescued two weeks later. This is evidenced on January 15 by a video posted by the Koshkispas Animal Rescue service in St. Petersburg and the region.

"Meet the hero of the day," reads the caption to the video clip with the rescued animal on the Telegram channel of the service.

The cat got stuck in the ventilation shaft of an apartment building on Tchaikovsky Street. During this time, the cat was not injured, now it has been taken away for overexposure.

On January 14, the Koshkispas service reported that rescuers had been trying to rescue the cat for about two weeks. It was clarified that for capture, specialists placed food and cat food in the chimney shaft, but the animal still did not come out to people. As noted in the rescue service, even after three hours of attempts to establish contact, the cat did not pick up and moved to a nearby ventilation shaft.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
