Trump threatened to send troops to quell protests in Minnesota
On January 25, US President Donald Trump threatened to send troops to Minnesota if the state authorities did not stop the protests.
"If corrupt Minnesota politicians do not obey the law and do not stop professional agitators and rebels from attacking ICE officers, I will apply the law of rebellion," Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.
According to Trump, many politicians have resorted to it before him. In addition, Trump called the protests in the state "an outrage."
In the United States, protesters against the actions of the Immigration and Customs Control Service (ICE) rallied on January 12 in front of the 58-storey skyscraper Trump Tower in New York. Some protesters came to the event with flags of the USSR.
