The Presidential Grants Fund will allocate about 4.9 billion rubles to initiatives of non-profit organizations (NPOs). This was announced on January 15 by the Kremlin's press service.

"1,469 non—profit organizations will receive 4.9 billion rubles following the results of the first competition of the Presidential Grants Fund in 2026," the report says.

The winners were determined at a meeting of the Coordination Committee, which was held by First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergey Kiriyenko. A total of 9,310 projects from all regions of the country were submitted for the competition. 4.885 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of the projects.

The average grant amount was 3.3 million rubles. Among the winners are 370 organizations that receive the grant for the first time. The leaders in the number of supported projects were St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Chelyabinsk regions.

An additional 2 billion rubles will be allocated to co-finance regional grant competitions in 84 regions.
