- The fight against vandalism at bus stops has been intensified in the Moscow region.
Measures to combat vandalism at public transport stops have been strengthened in the Moscow Region. This was announced on Thursday, January 15, according to the press service of the regional Ministry of Transport.
As explained in the department, a new reporting system has been introduced in the Moscow region to systematize the facts of violations. The filing of applications, their consideration and the outcome of the trials are under the control of the Mosavtodor Corporate Security Department.
In 2025, law enforcement agencies received 269 reports of vandalism. The total amount of damage was about 10.4 million rubles. Criminal cases were opened on 15 applications.
According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, 23 additional cameras of the "Safe Region" were installed in places that were most often attacked by hooligans.
Earlier it was reported that the State Duma proposed to toughen the punishment for hooliganism in transport. The authors of the bill believe that an act of vandalism or aggressive behavior towards drivers can lead to massive traffic violations and even human casualties.
