A Ford employee who was suspended from work after insulting US President Donald Trump has raised more than $800,000 on the GoFundMe crowdfunding platform. It took less than a day to collect this amount, the MSN portal reported on January 15.

In total, two campaigns were organized to support T.J. Sabula, in which $480 thousand and $329 thousand were raised, after which the collection of donations was stopped. The organizers of the collection called on users to send money to charity and other projects. In the description of one of the campaigns, Sabula was called a patriot of the United States.

The altercation between Trump and a Ford employee occurred on January 13, when the politician visited the company's factory in Michigan. An unpleasant comment was shouted at the president, and Trump showed the middle finger in response.

Later, the media reported that after this incident, 40-year-old Sabula was suspended from work for the period of an internal investigation. The man said that his shout was related to the president's involvement in the case of financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sexual crimes, including against children.

On November 19, Trump signed a bill to make public the files in the case of Epstein, accused of trafficking minors and sexual exploitation. The head of the White House said that this decision would reveal the truth about some high-ranking representatives of the US Democratic Party, with whom, according to him, the infamous financier was closely associated.
