Namin's stepson tried to commit suicide twice because of loneliness
The stepson of rock musician Stas Namin (real name - Anastas Mikoyan) Roman Tkachenko, accused of murdering his brother and grandmother, wanted to commit suicide because of loneliness. This was reported on January 15 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the hall of the Moscow Regional Court.
Testifying, Tkachenko's friend said that he had twice tried to take his own life. The man noted that the defendant had changed a lot after breaking up with the girl, but no one noticed his unjustified aggression.
The witness added that Namin's stepson was kind and helpful. On the eve of the murder, Tkachenko asked him to help his grandmother with the housework, but he soon left. The man learned about the incident from the police.
"My friend really missed his mother's attention. He wanted her to be proud of him, appreciated him, was always there for him, loved him, and wanted intimacy," the witness explained.
In December 2025, it was noted that Tkachenko's arrest was extended in the case of the murder of his grandmother and brother until April 1 of this year. At the same time, Tkachenko's defense insisted on a milder measure of restraint, unrelated to detention, due to the psychological state of the defendant.
The bodies of Namin's mother-in-law and his 30-year-old son Artyom with multiple stab wounds were found on the night of October 19, 2023 in their home in Kryukovo. It was noted that a dispute arose between the relatives over the sale of the house. During the conflict, the grandson killed his grandmother, after which he called his 30-year-old brother, confessed to what he had done, and when he arrived at the scene, Roman dealt with him. Then the criminal called the police and reported what he had done. The suspect was promptly detained.
