An explosion occurred in the building of the Vocational Training Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) in Syktyvkar, injuring nine people. This was announced on January 15 by a source of Izvestia.
According to preliminary information, a stun grenade exploded in the building at 12:25 Moscow time. Nine people were allegedly injured, and about 200 were evacuated. Heavy smoke is reported inside the building.
Three were taken to the city hospital of the Ezhvinsky district of Syktyvkar. It is specified that two of the victims are in serious condition. Five victims were also evacuated to the Komi Republican Clinical Hospital. One of them needed outpatient care.
