Alina Pekletsova became the winner of the individual freestyle race at the sixth stage of the Russian Cup in Cross-country skiing. The competition was held in Kazan on January 15.

The athlete covered the distance in 24 minutes and 9.4 seconds. Arina Kusurgasheva took the second place with a gap of 17.1 seconds. Evgenia Krupitskaya took the third place, 22.2 seconds behind.

Also today, Kazan will host a men's freestyle race at a distance of 15 km. On January 17, men and women will run a classic sprint, Sport-Express adds.
