On February 12, the drama "THE FIRST" starts on big screens — a film about first love, strong feelings and an emotional experience that cannot be forgotten. The distributor is NMG Kinoprokat (part of the National Media Group holding).

The film will be one of the main romantic releases of February and will be released on the eve of Valentine's Day. The project was produced by Hashtag Media, Ilya Muromets, and Amalgam film companies.

The general producer and co—author of the script is Alexey Trotsyuk ("Cheburashka", "Serf 1, 2", "Challenge"). The director and screenwriter is Anya Kharicheva, for whom "The FIRST" became a feature—length debut.

The main roles in the film were played by Oleg Savostyuk ("Alice in Wonderland", "Give a Show") and Irina Novichenko, a new face in big cinema. It was important for the creators to find their Alice — unlike anyone else, alive and trustworthy. The image created by Irina combines sensuality and inner depth combined with explosiveness, which makes her character truly attractive.

The main character Pasha (Oleg Savostyuk) is a zoomer with frozen feelings. There had never been any love in his life. But there is a nightclub inherited from his parents, and debts that grow faster than he has time to make decisions. It is impossible to sell the club — this is the last thing that connects it with the past. Pasha doesn't know how to control it either. Next to Lesya is her best friend, who has long felt more than she allows herself to admit, and is patiently waiting for Pasha to finally come to life. Everything changes with the arrival of Alice (Irina Novichenko), a girl from another world, bright, impulsive and unpredictable. Alice doesn't promise, doesn't take responsibility, and doesn't think about the consequences. She becomes the first to break through Pasha's defenses and draw him into the painfully vivid experience of first love.

This is a story about how feelings that you run from overtake you, and how first love turns an orderly life into chaos.

"I wanted to tell a story about first love. It happens to everyone, it cannot be avoided. And she's always, really, always very painful, very vulnerable, it's impossible to be prepared for this, because until you walk this path, you won't know what happens when your whole world is dominated by the person you're in love with. It is important to me that people do not feel lonely at a time of intense emotion, at a time when they are in pain. I hold out my hand. After all, when I was growing up and had my first love, movies saved me. And I want to set a trend for love with this film," said director and screenwriter Anya Kharicheva.

"We made movies for everyone who is in love now, and for those who have experienced this state at least once. It was important for us to create a lively, vibrant story with young actors whose energy and chemistry are felt on the screen from the first scene. It's a fresh, emotional movie that you want to watch and live with the characters. February has traditionally become a time for films about love, and we wanted to support this baton by releasing a story about the first and most powerful feelings," said general producer Alexei Trotsyuk.
