On January 15, Friedrich Pürner, a member of the European Parliament (EP), warned that the €90 billion allocated to Ukraine could be stolen.
"What budget checks will be carried out, by whom and with what frequency, to ensure control over the actual use of funds, and how can the EU ensure that the allocated funds do not lead to increased corruption in Ukraine?" he said.
