The head of the Novokuznetsk maternity hospital pleaded not guilty in the case of the deaths of infants

The acting head of the Novokuznetsk maternity hospital pleaded not guilty in the case of the deaths of nine infants in the institution. This was reported on January 15 by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

Obstetric hospital No. 1 of the city clinical hospital No. 1 in Novokuznetsk temporarily stopped receiving patients on January 13 due to an excess incidence of respiratory infection. Subsequently, it became known about the death of nine babies in the hospital during the New Year holidays. The Russian Investigative Committee confirmed the death of newborns, and a criminal case was opened.
