Bastrykin: 38 people were arrested in Sheremetyevo in the case of embezzlement from SVO fighters

38 people were arrested at Sheremetyevo Airport in the case of embezzlement from participants in a special military operation (SVO), and two more were put on the wanted list. This was announced on January 15 by Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
"In 2022, Vladimir Bardin, a resident of Moscow, created an organized criminal community. <...> At least 40 people were involved in its composition. To date, 38 members of the criminal community have been detained and imprisoned, two are wanted," he said in an interview with TASS.
