The crew of the Su-34 multifunctional supersonic fighter-bomber of the Aerospace Forces (VKS) struck a cluster of personnel and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of responsibility of the Center group of forces. This was announced on January 15 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The air strike was carried out using aerial bombs equipped with universal planning and correction modules (UMPCs) at pre-determined coordinates. After receiving confirmation from the reconnaissance units about the successful defeat of the target, the crew made a safe return to base.
