- Roscosmos announced the undocking of the Crew Dragon spacecraft with Crew-11 crew from the ISS
The Crew Dragon spacecraft with the crew of the Crew-11 mission undocked from the International Space Station (ISS). This was announced by Roscosmos on January 15.
"It was a wonderful month and a half of a joint flight, filled with work, transfer of cases, experiments, maintenance of the station's systems, as well as communication, friendly jokes, interesting stories, and a meeting of common holidays," cosmonaut Sergey Kud-Sverchkov shared on his Telegram channel.
According to Roscosmos, the landing of the device is scheduled for January 15 on the coast of California. It is specified that the early completion of the expedition was due to health problems of one of the crew members, which includes a Russian cosmonaut, as well as astronauts from NASA and the Japanese agency JAXA.
On November 12, Roscosmos announced that Kud-Sverchkov had become the new commander of the ISS, having received a symbolic key from astronaut Michael Fink. It is specified that, according to tradition, the ship's bell was then struck, marking the official assumption of command.
