The Federation Council called Stubb an unsuitable negotiator from the EU with Russia
Finnish President Alexander Stubb, who was proposed as a special representative for negotiations between the European Union (EU) and Russia on the Ukrainian settlement, is not at all suitable for this role, as he makes Russophobic statements. This was announced on January 14 by Senator of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Vladimir Dzhabarov.
"Stubb is a golfer, but not a negotiator. Choosing Finnish President Alexander Stubb as the EU's negotiator with Russia is a bad idea. The Europeans think that Finland is our closest neighbor. But this country is not only a member of the EU, but also of NATO," the politician said in his Telegram channel.
