Artyom Missyura, a serial poisoner from Balashikha, claimed that he had poisoned his grandmother to steal her gold. This was reported on January 14 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

Testifying in court, Missyura revealed a plan according to which he intended to appropriate the jewelry of an elderly relative. He wanted his grandmother to go to the hospital, so that he could sell her jewelry and cover his debts.

Missyura presented the pensioner with poisoned mors, but she spilled the treat because of its excessive sweetness. Then the young man brought her an antiviral suspension under the pretext of preventing colds and mixed poison into it.

Later, Artyom handed his grandmother salt mixed with a toxic substance, claiming that it was a useful supplement for the cores. He managed to pawn the woman's gold.

In December last year, it was reported that Missyura wanted to burn down the car of his friend Konstantin's girlfriend after he drugged him with deadly poison. The poisoner spent time at Konstantin and his girlfriend's house, and when he left, he hugged his friend and asked about his well-being. At night, the man felt unwell and lost his bearings in space, and an ambulance was called for him. Upon learning of Konstantin's death, Missyura calmly watched the general panic, and after he was not invited to the funeral, he began to threaten his friend's girlfriend and intended to burn her car.

In September, it was also reported that Missyura filled his stepfather's coffee machine with a "potion" of chemicals and replaced spices in his house with poison. At the same time, the man, not realizing that his stepson was poisoning him, was more than once surprised by the strange taste of the products and noticed the consequences of their use. In addition, the defendant wanted to give his uncle and grandmother a deadly liquid disguised as "holy water."

Missyura was detained on July 19, 2024. According to the investigation, from January to June, the suspect, while in his parents' apartment, poured strong chemicals into their products with the aim of fatal poisoning. Later, a surveillance camera was installed in the apartment, which recorded how Missyura poured toxic substances into his parents' food. On August 25 of this year, Missyura fully admitted his guilt.
