The Hongqi Guoya luxury sedan will be available in Russia by mid-2026

The Hongqi Guoya executive sedan (also known by the L1 index) is planned to be launched on the Russian market in the first half of 2026. The model has passed certification and received Vehicle Type Approval, the company said in a statement received by Izvestia on January 14.

The Russian representative office of the brand said that Hongqi Guoya is positioned for clients such as top managers of major companies, business owners and government officials. The length of the car exceeds 5.3 m, and the wheelbase is 3.2 m. The model is the flagship in the Hongqi line.

"The model offers a worthy alternative to the top European executive class sedans and will occupy a unique, unparalleled niche in the Russian market," the brand's press service said.

As previously reported, in Russia, the Hongqi Guoya will be offered with a turbocharged 380 hp (570 Nm) V6 engine combined with an 8-band automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system. The interior is made using natural leather and wood.
