Intercity buses will be canceled in the Krasnoyarsk Territory due to frosts

The weather in the Krasnoyarsk Territory is frosty. In some places, the temperature drops to -45 degrees. So far, no decision has been made to restrict traffic on the highways.

However, according to KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, with reference to KRUDOR's press service, it will become even colder in the region this week, and the thermometer will drop below -40 degrees. In order to prevent emergencies, flight cancellations and changes in bus schedules in suburban and intercity services are not excluded.

Currently, closures are in effect on sections for passenger transport from 123 to 246 km of the Epishino–Severo-Yeniseisky highway and from 0 to 95 km of the Severo-Yeniseisky –Velmo highway.

Road enterprises and their branches, operating around the clock, are already equipped with heating points.

Earlier, Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, said that a sharp cold snap is expected in the Urals and Siberia during the week of January 12-18. According to him, in the coming days, 30-degree frosts will cover the Urals and southern Siberia. So, on January 14-15 in Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Barnaul and Krasnoyarsk — up to -35 ...-38 degrees. The expert noted that these regions will face the most dramatic and severe weather changes in the near future. In addition, the cold snap will affect Moscow and the Moscow region, where the air temperature may drop to -25 degrees next weekend.
