Sobyanin spoke about the plans for the construction of healthcare facilities

In 2025, 13 new healthcare facilities were built in Moscow, including hospital buildings and polyclinics, and almost 80 buildings of medical institutions were reconstructed. Plans for 2026-2028 include 52 more healthcare facilities, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said in his channel on the IACH.

"Moscow is actively developing medical infrastructure, creating modern and comfortable medical facilities equipped with advanced equipment," Sobyanin stressed in his personal blog.

A total of 182 medical facilities have been built in the capital since 2011, the mayor of the capital recalled. In the next three years, more than 800,000 square meters of new medical space will be built, Sobyanin noted. In particular, the construction of a new medical and diagnostic complex of the Moscow City Oncological Hospital No. 62 in Skolkovo will be completed in the spring. It will be equipped with high-tech operating rooms, an outpatient cancer care center and a bone and soft tissue tumor center.

Among the key projects that will be implemented in the near future is a new multidisciplinary complex of 52 hospitals. Competence centers in nephrology, rheumatology, allergology and immunology, hematology and other departments will be opened here. A maternity hospital with a department of pregnancy pathology, an operating unit, and a neonatal unit will also open in the complex.

In addition, the construction of a new complex of the N. V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine with an area of more than 150 thousand square meters, which began in November 2025, will be completed. There will be 27 operating rooms (22 of them are high—tech and five are small), a radiosurgery Center with cyber and gamma knives.

"The new medical complexes will become the real hospitals of the future, which will serve many generations of Muscovites well," the mayor concluded.
