On January 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the difficulties encountered in acquiring American weapons for the Ukrainian army, funded by European countries.

"The PURL program (the "List of priority requirements of Ukraine") needs to be completed, and not enough has been done in January," he said in a video message on the Telegram channel.

The President also added that Kiev needs real and timely implementation of all agreements with partners.

The Telegraph reported on January 13 that after the conclusion of the coalition of the Willing summit, European leaders, and especially France, could not come to an agreement on further assistance to Ukraine, which led to the threat of arms supplies to Kiev in the amount of approximately €90 billion. It was clarified that France is promoting the idea of "buying European" for Kiev, fearing excessive dependence on American defense supplies and the unreliability of the head of the White House, Donald Trump, as an ally.
