Crews of T-80BV tanks of the Vostok group of forces eliminated control points for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This was announced on January 14 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to intelligence data from the operators of UAVs of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the locations of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles have been clarified. It is specified that after that, the tanks entered the firing lines and began spot work on the militants' shelters, where the UAV control points were located.

"There are two or three trips a day, depending on the weather and exploration conditions. Basically, 4-5 charges each, so as not to give out our position <...> and that's it, we're leaving the position," said the tank commander with the call sign Kudryavy.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the strikes were carried out from closed firing positions. After working out the target, the tank crews promptly left the area, preventing the enemy from tracking the movement and striking back.

According to the ministry, the tankers carried out the task from a closed firing position, guided by ground reconnaissance data.
