Four Russian cats became the best in the world in the "veterans" category

Four cats from Russia were recognized as the best among the exhibition animals in 2025 in the "veterans" category (animals over eight years old). The corresponding rating is available on the website of the World Cat Federation (WFC).

136 individuals participated in the category. The top 5 of the list includes the Kuril Bobtail, Siberian cat, British Shorthair and Munchkin from the Russian Federation. The fifth place was taken by a Persian cat from Italy.

In the same rating, two Russian cats are in the first two places in the non-pedigree category.
