A shipment of fish food from China was detained in Primorye

A batch of dried fish feed was not allowed to pass from China to Primorye. The weight of the cargo was almost 12.5 tons. The import of products into the region was banned by the Primorsky Interregional Rosselkhoznadzor Administration.

Specialists from the Vladivostok border Veterinary Station revealed violations during an inspection at a temporary storage warehouse. During the verification of the documents, the inspectors found that several mandatory requirements were incorrectly filled out in the import veterinary certificate, the UssurMedia news agency reports, citing the press service of the department.

The decision to suspend the cargo was made in accordance with Russian legislation. The shipment may be allowed for further transportation if the violations are eliminated.

In December, it was reported that Rosselkhoznadzor specialists had banned the import of a batch of duck feathers from Vietnam to Primorsky Krai. The weight of the batch was almost 40 tons. The reason for the refusal of transportation is a violation of veterinary regulations.
