A tiger that poses a danger to people is being searched near a village in Primorye

A search for a conflict tiger is underway near the village of Zerkalny in Primorsky Krai. Hunting Supervision takes security measures. Residents are asked to be extremely careful.

According to PrimaMedia news agency with reference to the administration of the Kavalerovsky municipal district, a tiger dangerous to humans is moving near the settlement. To prevent tragic consequences, people are asked not to be outside at night, not to let children go outside without adult supervision, to lock yard dogs in closed enclosures, on verandas, in summer kitchens, not to go out into the woods unnecessarily.

All conflict situations related to the appearance of predators on the territory of populated areas should be reported to the hotline of the regional state hunting supervision service or to the unified hotline of operational services.

Earlier, on January 9, it was reported that motherless tiger cubs had been rescued in the north of Primorsky Krai. On January 6, four toddlers were found by the roadside. Later, two animals died of hypothermia. The two surviving tiger cubs were taken to a rehabilitation center in serious condition. It is noted that the cubs are severely malnourished and dehydrated.
