More than 1,700 textile collection containers were installed in the Moscow region

In 2025, more than 1,700 containers for collecting textiles were installed in the Moscow region. This is reported by the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya with reference to the Ministry of Territorial Maintenance and State Housing Supervision.

All collected items are sorted. Clothing that is suitable for future use is donated to charity. Clothes that are not suitable for wear are sent for recycling.

Previously, textile collection projects were launched in Russian cities with millions of residents. 56 containers were installed in Nizhny Novgorod, 50 each in Samara, Yekaterinburg and Perm.
