In 2026, 14 projects for the improvement of public spaces located in villages are planned to be implemented in the Sakhalin Region. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Trade.
Landscaping projects are being implemented in Korsakovsky, Dolinsky, Tymovsky and Uglegorsky districts within the framework of the state program "Integrated Rural Development". The total amount of financing will amount to 1.15 billion rubles, of which 422 million will be from the federal budget.
The planned total amount of financing for the program until 2030 is more than 4 billion rubles. Funds will also be allocated from the federal and regional budgets. It is expected that the improvements will affect more than 80 thousand people, SakhalinMedia news agency writes.
In the fall, it was reported that by October 2026, the Sakhalin Region plans to complete the overhaul of the emergency bridge located on the border of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Anivsky district. We are talking about the crossing of the Khristoforovka River, in the course of which work can be carried out only from September to May.
